Emergency Contraception
There are two types of emergency contraception:
1. Hormonal:
contains two tablets - 1 tablet taken , followed by 2nd tablet 12 hours later.
Should be taken within first 72 hours of UPSI (Unprotected sexual intercourse)

2. IUCD (coil):
can be inserted up to 5 days after UPSI –if unable to take the tablets or
if attended after 72 hours
